Cityflex was borne out of Louisa’s experience of running a small business whose success continues to be driven by highly skilled employees who work remotely and flexibly to suit their schedule, as well as her perspectives gained from meeting an incredible number of talented City professionals and stay at home parents seeking flexible working opportunities that would reflect their career experience and value.
Louisa Symington-Mills has 15 years’ experience working in City businesses and is a proven entrepreneur. She has two young children aged four and five, and works remotely and flexibly around her children's school hours. She is the founder and CEO of Cityparents Ltd, a diversity organization focusing on supporting working parents in City professions. Helen Beedham looks after Cityparents' corporate relationships and is responsible for our employer forum, Cityworks. Helen worked in management consulting for 15 years, primarily full-time and subsequently part-time. She helped major corporate and Government clients to implement organisational, HR and people-related changes. Prior to consulting, she worked for the Director of Operations at Harrods. She is married with two step-children aged 19 and 21 and a daughter aged 5, and lives in Kent. After leaving consulting in 2011, she juggled full-time parenting with establishing a micro-bakery business and giving language coaching. Helen is enjoying her return to the corporate world in her new role at Cityparents, and is also on the Committee for the Women’s Network at Trinity College Cambridge. Kim Willis joined Cityparents in October 2016 and assists the team with administration, social media and the quarterly newsletter. Prior to that she worked for an international association of Listed Private Equity companies in an investor relations and marketing role; where she managed the company website, liaised with members, and coordinated membership events in Europe and London.
